How to convince those who believe differently ? This is the constant dilemma on this topic. I have posted articles on global warming and it's implications for our weather on the Environmental thread. The only response that I get is that this has bee going on for centuries and nature takes care of itself. I have paraphrased the last sentence.

And Michael Chritten (ex.sp) has written that book the name of which escapes me that pooh poohs all the global warming alarmists...

When in Mexico I know that the emission from the cars alone.. when one walks the streets... (they have not automobile emissions standards..) gave one friend a migraine... and another asthma.. This was years ago and at that time I thought what happens to all these fumes...Where do they go,

And in NC the top of one beautiful mountain is all destroyed.
The trees all dead from the smokestack fumes from West Virginia and other places.. Just as though a disease had wiped the trees of their leaves and a fire had gone through without the black residue ..

And then we have this latest preponderance of hurricanes... Too bad all the monies that it will take to repair the damage from Katrina wasn't paid to the companies who do not have to monitor their emissions to compensate them so that we don't have to inhale their fumes or have a climate change.

There will be a lot of you who disagree but John's post really SHOULD bring it home to us all.
