That would probably be a good thing, but that road is full of political land mines.

Definitely true....which is why looking the other way and letting US consumers import the drugs might be the best solution. The cost differentials are huge, so it wouldnt take long for a couple of well run internet sites to put quite a bit of pressure on the system.
