TECHNOLOGY IN ITS MANY GUISES... process control. recently I recall reading about how cars, the electronics, the computer that runs car engines is now used to allow the cars to burn fuel mixes. The cost of the electronics and the sensors keeps getting cheaper. Also the manufacturing of precision electromechanical controls gets cheaper as well as the sensors to monitor an engine operations.

As more and more vehicles come equipped with multifuel capability and more will as the up cost will get less and less, the usefulness of all alternative fuels gets greatly magnified and they can collectively add to the fuel resource base of the country.

So I am not concerned with the President speaking to alternative fuel sources. Imagine, a 120gig external USB 2.0 drive is only 70 bucks this week at Best Buy.
