I'll tell you what would help the Democrats, is if we could expand the House to be more representative of the people. That would help the Democrats. The way the GOP has taken over many southern states, redistricting has favored them in the 435 memember House.

I have heard some commentators talk about expanding the House beyond 435 memembers. There is nothing Constitutionally stopping us from doing so. Of course, it would be nearly impossible as the rightwing would go ballastic. But perhaps it's time to start beating the drum for change?
