Cary, Rob, Clearly, the price / cost for flash will continue to drop either in accord with or faster than Moore's law. ... but so will the price / cost of Hard drives. ... and the amount of storage needed will grow exponentially. When the PC was born, it came with a 10MB harddrive, or if you're lucky 20MB. Today, home PCs are coming with 7.0GB hard drives (Dell Dimension for 1). Thread, Enough is enough. Quit talking about fundamentals and let's get back to copyright law. After all, talking about the law has caused us to close above $30 for the first time in a very long time. ;-) Best wishes, Ian.
