Well, this is the beginning of Winterlude in Ottawa. It's raining and about 36F, and supposed to stay this way for at least a couple of more days. So much for skating on the canal, the ice sculpture competitions and various other winter events. They keep moving the date to try to "catch" the coldest part of winter, but they are getting repeatedly washed out. I'm wondering how much longer it will be until they just call it quits and maybe try for Summerlude instead.
