Well then since ancient Isra'El was destroyed in 70 C.E., so what is al the fuss about a "Jewish" homeland.

I don't know.. what's all the fuss about a Palestinian state, something they've never had before. There was never a "Palestinian Kingdom", nor a country of Palestine. Now some have asserted that the Palestinians are descendants of the Philistines, but I've yet to see true documented evidence for that (although from a historical sense it brings a bit of "nostalgia" to the whole Arab-Israeli conflict).

Now if the Palestinians were intent on reviving their alleged Philistine culture, then that would be something else entirely. But as of now, their culture is actually a transplant of Arabic-Bedouin culture. They speak Arabic, the majority follow an Arabic religion, and I don't discern any cultural values that are distinctly Philistine in origin.

But let's also talk to a different factor. We now have a Hamas led government that will attempt to Talibanize the PA. But Palestinians consist of more than Muslims. There are Palestinian Christians as well. And I don't see ANY CONSIDERATION for their concerns.

I've known a number of Palestinian Christians who feel extremely discriminated against by Palestinian Muslims. One lady I knew spoke 5 languages and had lived in Bethlehem. She told me her town used to be 80% Christian. But now there are very few Christians there due to discrimination and intimidation, especially by Palestinian Muslims.

I do not believe that the Arab Palestinians objected to allowing the transfer of European Jews who were being displaced by the Nazis, but they wanted control of how many were to arrive.

I'm sure they didn't. They'd resent it about as much as a horde of Japanese coming the US and paying 5-10 times the actual local value of the real estate. The Zionist and Jewish refugees were well financed by folks like the Rothschilds and very Synagogues throughout the world. They had cold, hard cash and the Arab inhabitants were willing sellers when the price was right. And the British made sure that the Arabs were paid for their land.

So where's their right to complain?? They should blame their ancestors for selling the family farm.
