I am right there, Sioux Pal. O-man, Stewart and shame on Chris Matthews... even the network-wide, broadband width, Sunday runs have lost their cutting edge. I get the odious drift of **** from across the week long before these guys play pump and dump. Only CBS's "Sunday Morning" and that little newsweekly with Good Guy Until He Dies Bob Schaeffer (too many alternative spellings) after the geese fly into the sunrise, gets my tick, and then only if I feel so inclined. MacLaughlin Group and PBS's "NOW" and "Frontline" still have my allegiance.
Hey - the world really is getting smaller!
Is this not shaping up to be an interesting week. From the magnified view it looks like more of the same. But pull back and the "same" is getting louder and angry. More OpEd on NYT, more demands for answers, more exposure of ineptitudes on the part of Our Fearless Leadership. More professionalism from on-line, less in-depth being revealed in MSM.
And, what about that weather! And, the beat goes on...
Fitzgerald had better be watching his back and front, and sides. If the guy had a fly on him we'd all be cooked; but he does not. He is a non-drinking, anti-vanity, truth-seeking respecter of law... what are they going to try to blackmail, or pin on him? That leaves a terrible accident.
Hope he has a long, notarized, letter in his lock-box. Oh - I forgot - Patriot I or is it II - allows the Feds to scoop that stuff, along with any valuables, if they so desire.
Hope he is made of permalink, then... At least Google will stand up for him... Won't they?
