I think it will get much, much worse. It is beginning to look as if the Abramoff investigation is going to lead to the Whitehouse and into the Pentagon. When the best reformer the Republicans can come up with passed out checks from the tobacco lobby on the House floor right before a key vote on a tobacco bill, you know they are irreversably corrupt. Not to mention when Boehner got caught conspiring with Gingrich to circumvent the Ethics Committee...
