The Jan 30 IEEE press release would suggest good things ahead for this company. Is the AEP line install in Ohio, Texas or Kentucky?

The quote from below "while the project engineer from a utility that recently selected and installed several miles of the ACCC conductor presented information on how he selected ACCC over several other conductor types. He went on to describe a smooth installation and outlined his company's ten step evaluation process for the selection of a new conductor for deployment on its grid, which resulted in the acquisition and installation of ACCC. These included the unique properties of the conductor, the common methods used for installing the lines, and the intended strategies surrounding future deployments." is a great endorsement.

"ACCC was presented in the "High Temperature Operation of Line Hardware and Connectors" session. Representatives from CTC, General Cable, and Burndy provided technical updates on the ACCC conductor and ancillary hardware components, while the project engineer from a utility that recently selected and installed several miles of the ACCC conductor presented information on how he selected ACCC over several other conductor types. He went on to describe a smooth installation and outlined his company's ten step evaluation process for the selection of a new conductor for deployment on its grid, which resulted in the acquisition and installation of ACCC. These included the unique properties of the conductor, the common methods used for installing the lines, and the intended strategies surrounding future deployments.

The Company is pleased to see its ACCC conductor increasingly the focus of the discussion to improve the efficiency and reliability of the grid. Mr. Wilcoxon, CEO of CTC stated "The 2005 Energy Bill, draws attention to the use of 'Advanced Transmission Technologies' to enhance transmission flows and improve efficiency and reliability. Unfortunately smaller companies have been largely overlooked in this process. We are pleased that an important initiative to identify and deploy the best technologies is coming from Operators, Engineering Organizations such as IEEE and the press. We would like to thank all those participating in the conference for their interest and support."
