Carbon Monoxide Victims Treated and Released
Story posted on 2006-02-03 18:41:00

Two contractors who were rushed to the hospital after a carbon monoxide leak, are now okay tonight.

The men were found yesterday in the basement of a home here on North 10th Street in Reading.

Fire officials say the level of carbon monoxide inside peaked on their meters.

Two neighbors were also taken to the hospital as a precaution.

All four have been treated and released.

Fire officials believe a generator that stopped working is what led to the problem.
