Sounds like you did a google crash course in Danish journalism , immigration and foreign policy , lol....but oh , you live there ?!? Perhaps the most important things to remember in this is that the paper that posted the cartoons is a right wing paper that has had a long history of anti-moslem articles and cartoons What does that have to do with anything ? There are many barbs and jabs being levied at fundamentalist Christianity everyday , or Judaism .... and that is as it should be . If the Muslim world is so hypocritical that it can't take a little criticism for the deafening silences of their own barbarism and superstitions , you would say that we should sacrifice free press to appease their fanatics? There are bombings of churches , murder and torture and outrageous barbarous acts committed every week in the name of Allah . But you would have us stand mute on the subject ? If the western press really wanted to monitor the goings on in the ME and other regions of this imaginary "World of Islam " and hone in and report every atrocity going on in Muslim societies , we would have no space left over for any other news. I can think of southern Sudan just for a start .... Heaven forbid we should report the myriad hypocrisies, assassinations , death plots, bombings , kidnappings and torture/beheadings and barbarism that take place regularly in daily Muslim life throughout the world , and more often Muslim killing Muslims .
