I suspect the reason the price of GDT rides below BSX's offer is that much of the offer was based on BSX's stock price above $22.86 (by memory I think that was the lower end of the collar). Many of us don't think BSX is worth $22.86 with GDT appended. Thus the value we receive from some cash and some BSX shares will not be as high as $80.
