Without much fanfare AVEI continues move up in price 44-3/4. The two year chart looks like a "V" with the bottom occuring in Dec. '96 at around $10!

Since its inception in 1991, AVEI has been engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of stent systems and balloon angioplasty catheters designed to be utilized in connection with the treatment of atherosclerosis. Their products are currently sold only outside of the US, primarily in Europe and Japan. The next step is to get FDA approval in the US. This is expected no sooner than end of 1997.
