Not quite correct. His plan to win the war worked out real well and the war was won in a hurry.
After that they had 4-5 months of kind of peace in Iraq until the insurgents and foreign terrorists got organized.
Why did they get organized? Because Bush didn't have any plan for after the win.
That was the total lack of execution every lib and a large chunk of us not belonging to that camp have been complaining about.
And still are as comes out from most likely at least the half of the republican posters on this board.
