Canada might be safer, but we're all of the same continent. I doubt that borders wil be much of a match for despirate panicy people looking to find refuge from a sizeable dirty bomb in New York city. The domino effect of calamity is not able to be measured. Two of the most dangerous terrorists have just escaped a Yemeni prison- responsible for the USS Cole incident in 1998. Perhaps the US can pay someone to turn them in or kill them.. Equally perhaps not.
Canada's liberal corruption, from what I've heard sounds extensive- but not as great as the level of it going on in the US' House, Senate and White House. Too many independent stories corroborating too many things to be simply untrue propaganda. When the "liberal media" here plays up missing girl stories left and right, you know somethings up when they ignore General Hayward/Negropontes hearing about torture, interrogation and wiretapping US citizens, and these two instead of reporting to the committee who now scolds them, they hold a press confrence. Bush is not above the law, and Hayward denied the fourth amendment with it's section on PROBABLE CAUSE as a factor in search and seizure. He said flat out there was nothing about probable cause in the fourth amendment on this press confrence. When ther fact is THERE IS PROBABLE CAUSE needed to be determined IN THE FOURTH AMENDMENT. THE GENERAL IS LYING AND SPREADING LIES. I HEARD THIS F-ER LIVE ON CSPAN. Other republicans here have resigned (Colmey, etc,) Because they know this is unprecidented breaking the law and the people according to US Constitution have the right to see a warrant before search and seizure, with PROBABLE CAUSE. Our little General is twisting the words written to suit THE NEOCON (WHAT THEY CALL THEMSELVES) agenda of attempting complete power, again I heard him say this LIVE. These people - neo cons are in the wrong and just pile on lie after lie to keep the surreality going!!
This whole problem is helped along by enough spineless Democrats, who deserve to be tossed out now. They as well are totally self serving, and roll right over from threats and bribes "horse trading" when it comes to voting on Alito etc. |
