>>>Read the detail of the press release again. Here is the quote, "Over the next three years, more than 150 Frame Relay switches and a number of ATM switches will be used as the backbone to enhance NTT's domestic Frame Relay network....". <<<
That says nothing about the actual contract size. Solidify your argument with a relevent quote. The original rumor that broke the NTT story speculated a deal worth 200 - $300 mil.
>>>Let's assume they will be able to sell the B-STDX 9000 frame relay switch at $100,000/ea in average, you will get a total of 15 million $ + those $$$ from CBX 500 ATM<<<
Assumptions don't do much for me. I want some raw data if you are going to throw out figures on how much each product sold to NTT in the contract will yield (if you are attempting a credible effort at contradicting the initial newsbreak's estimates).
Also, don't forget that ASND isn't just boxing up some product and leaving it on NTT's doorstep. You have many other revenue sources as part of such a contract, including: parts, training, installation, network building/customization, maintenence, and future upgrading. Perhaps most important is the building of a long-term relationship with Japan's largest core network backbone provider. This locks out CSCO, which is another nice side-effect.
Are you a disgruntled CSCO shareholder? Or just a worried short? If you cannot see the significance of this win, there's no way of explaining it to you -- it is obvious, even to the honest bears.
By the way, to anyone still of mind that ASND is gonna go down to the 20s, or that the latest string of good news is meaningless, show your convictions and take/announce a short position in the stock.
