Bush, CHeney and Gonzalez are on public record as promising that any domestic wiretapping will come with a warrant. They lied publicly to the people and congress.

Bushies' covert abuses of power could threaten the very foundation of our great democracy. No one is safe from their psying. Not even reporters, prosecutors, judges, senators, investigators, vote-counters, political opponents, etc. They can stick their fat noses into anyone's business, just like Big Brother in 1984. No difference.
All types of unfair play and treachery could be unveiled if a president can tap anyone he wants. It is like Nixon with a supercomputer, 100 times worse than Watergate and, of course, none of it netted a single terrorist. Also, Bush, Cheney and Gonzalez have all publicly lied about this. So count perjury as another strike against them. |
