There is nothing common sense about spending twice as much money as you take it, then bragging about what a great economy it is.

Nor saying you're a Christian and robbing the poor to pay the rich.

Nor is it common sense to knowingly lie to start a war without a longrange plan, then talk about "victory" when all indications are that we're stuck in a costly quagmire.

There is nothing common sense about fighting for big oil's interests all your career, mocking conservation and clean fuels, then suddenly coming out and annoncing we have to quit our "addiction to oil". Like the p;usher telling the junkie to quit.
