So I'm watching these hearings about us basically losing many of our constitutional rights under the Bush doctrines. So a while back I told myself "Self, you don't have terror related conversations on the phone to be worried about. Self, you don't break any laws to be worried about if somebody is WATCHING you." Then the strangest thing happened. That other "voice" came back to challenge the earlier "self" and say "Oh yes you do SiouxPy! Oh yes you do. You talk on the phone to your kids and some pals about your opinions on where America is headed, and ole SiouxPy some of your words are pretty harsh about what you'd like to see done about it. And...oh...by the way SiouxPy sometimes you drive after you've had 2 beers in a row, and you just may fail a breathalizer test if administered by a determined cop. You even drive 59 MPH in a 55 MPH zone." And then the first self says "But that won't happen, you're just a good guy who loves your government, and wants it to be straight with it's citizens. They won't come for you SiouxPy." Oh, I'll be right back, somebody's knocking pretty loud on my door. Give me 45 seconds.......
