France is very serious about terrorism as is bush and is willing to be not PC all the time. This trumps the jealousy over the US leadership role, the US culture dominance etc. Other euros are more politically correct. US under Kerry would be with the other guys. 2 + 2=4 for the french so we have common policy on iran and on the wot.
