Here you go........ we are at war and this is how a US congressman, who experienced 911 in his own city, speaks :

New York Congressman Gary Ackerman came into the studio to present Howard with the American flag that was flown over the Capital on January 9, 2006 to honor his move to SIRIUS.

Although Congressman Ackerman admitted that he voted for the war in Iraq, he added that he did so because he believed the “evidence” the White House used to back their request. Congressman Ackerman went on to say that not only are members of Congress exploring whether or not Pres. Bush’s “prefabrications” for the war could lead to an impeachment, but that they’re also looking into the legality of the president’s recently revealed spying tactics. The Congressman noted that, while there are times when spying is necessary in order to stop
terrorists, there are legal ways of doing so and that it appears the president sidestepped the law to gather his secret information. As the Congressman put it, if republicans could initiate impeachment hearing for President Clinton’s “indiscretions,” then perhaps similar proceedings weren’t too far off for Bush.
