Good guy, really sums it up IMO.

If there is a God, he takes care of such matters.

When my kids were born the question came up what to do with my wife being a Buddhist and me a protestant. We agreed on doing nothing and waiting for the kids getting old enough to decide for themselves. Which they did at age 14/16.

When my oldest son was around 2-3 we went to a wedding party in Italy. After a couple of glasses I told the local Catholic Pater about our decision and he thought it was great! Then I snuck in the question about the danger, because according to the Roman Church, anybody - kid or not - dying while not being baptized goes to Hell, if we were not on thin ice here with our child?? He said "I don't believe so, God is not a Bureaucrat".
