originally bought some in late '03 and some more in early '04. Obviously at much lower levels and in anticipation of them having to deal with this preferred sometime before Dec 06 (the mandatory call date of 20%). Although they still haven't figured out what they are going to do, since the stock ran so fast based on institutional positions I sold most of it in late 05. Still have a small position, but I really don't know where it goes from here. Since it's debt and the mexican standoff has begun not sure if there is much upside. If the preferred guys win the book value is about 30 dollars per share (the accrued dividends plus 10 par value). My guess is they try to make a deal at 15 and borrow 45 million to pay it off. But it seems the institutional guys are beyond that.
