8:00AM Brooks Automation upgraded to Buy at Needham (BRKS) 16.99 : Needham is upgrading BRKS to Buy from Hold and sets a $22 tgt. The firm says the Brooks/Helix combination has a lot of potential for growth and is immediately accretive to Brooks. They say both the synergies and cost savings are very good. The firm says the positive bookings environment seems to be continuing into the March quarter and bookings are expected to increase sequentially in the range of $165 mln to $175 mln.
