Is Allah "legally recognized" in Denmark? How about Judaism? And what about atheists? Is it legal to badmouth them? You don't think maybe having the gov't dictate what religious belief is allowed is a bit insane? Would Martin Luther have been hanged in Denmark for starting the Protestant Reformation? After all, he did badmouth both Catholics and the Pope? When was it that a modern western European nation slipped back into the Dark Ages? I know you have a constitutional monarchy, but isn't this a bit ridiculous? And what about those nasty atheists? Are they fair game? How far would charges of pedophilia against Catholic priests get in Denmark? Would the charger or the priest go to jail? Are texts on biology that mention evolution allowed in in Denmark? Christ (WHOOPS!) and we thought WE had problems with fundie Protestants! "I guess Allah somehow slipped and got coverage. When did this happen?" Just what do you mean? I mean is Allah one of the legal gods in Denmark? Are the poor SOBs that published those cartoons going to jail? When did you lose fredom of the press? Or did you never have it?
