Karen,
I have never seen someone miss the point so thoroughtly after it was reveiled as plain as I could write.

The ones who are paid in perpetuity are those who have an equity stake. For their one time contribution to the enterprise they get benefits over a theoretical infinite amount of time (If only I should live so long).

What I have shown, admittedly through the backdoor at first, is that it is not fair for a worker to get a perpetual payment for his contribution, and by extension it is not fair for any contributor to get a perpetual payment for a single contribution.

This is the fundamental inequity in our current system that leads to many ills, such as the current great disparity between the rich (by and large gaining equity positions via inheritence and stock options) and the poor with only the immediate payment of a salary. The unlucky middle class are those with some fish and some silver and some silverfish ;-)
