Why stop at 650,000 - life existed at every level. Even if we are contributing to the current rise, it would probably occur anyway at some time in the future. We don't have the technology to accurately control this level beyond pure guesswork - the rash choices some suggest would cause huge economic damage - we will eventually get to energy sources that don't create CO2, but whether it's 10 years or a hundred years the entire industrial revolution is just a wink in time.


I see. There is no point in trying to plan or to come up with preventative measures. It is what it is. Is that why Bush spends like there will be no tomorrow.......because he doesn't think tomorrow will come thanks to global warming?

You all are like people in the 19th century..........praying to God to save you while pretending its out of your hands.
