I listened to what Carter said and he spoke the facts of the challenges that the Kings went through which is wire tapping. At funerals, people talk about the challenges faced by the dead person. A pretty bold statement to make.

That is the truth is it not? Is it a lie? Why does that statement hurt the religious right. Why are the Bushies squirming? Are they guilty of something.

It is also very ironic that while the Bush WH is advocating democracy in the ME, Bush's buddy Karl Rove is warning the Republican Congress members that he is going to cut their necks off if they opposed Bush's eavesdropping program. Say what, shades of Saddam Hussein in Bush?
