I personally never pursued my Masters in CompSci because I could make more money going into management. HAHA - you too? How many of us are there? Spock is rolling in his grave. I got tricked by the big blue, and now am just too lazy to go back for all that formal education drama. I assume if I was starving to death and the only way out was to be some bitch boy to a college prof again I would certainly leap at the opportunity to climb out of my misery. Until princess is hungry and daddy and boyfriend dont give her cell phones and houses and credit cards for free - we got a long way to go before we start starving and get motivated again. My mcdonalds 1 dollar hamburger menu is going to have to go up to at least 10 bucks before I start getting alarmed. I have a friend that went through the drama for his Phd in CS 2 times and spent 13 years at urbana illinois before he finally gave up and went to work in the real world - he lost a lot of money he could have made with just holding a BS. He was a highly idealogical and ethical individual and always chastized me for selling out the man when there were higher pursuits for our souls beyond money. Last year he wrote me telling me about his new radar jammer he built and installed on his ford taurus - said he couldn't afford all the speeding tickets he was getting - what a lawbreaker! So much for higher pursuits and ethics - hehe.
