Normally, no one would think so.

But, the recent violent and terrifying response of the Moslems in Europe have certainly hardened Europeans' sympathy for Moslems in general. Of course, we know that the US was most probably behind the disemmination of the cartoons. It is most probably Bush's way of garnering European support for the forthcoming war against Tehran.
