Personally, I conclude the added fact should lessen hope of any sudden PA moderation, but hey, maybe that's just me. Draw your own conclusions. It would be nice if the PA moderated. I hope it does. I don't think we can reasonably do more than hope. Predicting is quite impossible no matter which or how many news sources you follow. It could go either way. And whether you or I anticipate a positive or negative outcome has no effect on that outcome. It seems to me that the only sensible thing is to not lose sleep over it. Unless you're a Palestinian or Israeli, that is. It will be a long time, if ever, before they can sleep really well. As far as the threat to the US from PA moderation or lack of same, well, if I didn't know better, I'd think you were kidding. It takes a whole lot of projection and "emotional component" to cause an American to shake in his boots over that.
