On top of all that, I was a terrible bore. I had an attitude of superiority based on differential results. I was constantly offering him advice. He has never met this improved person.

It was at his father's funeral, he had been out drinking with his buddies rather than grieving with his family that had collected from far flung laces. I used tough love.

If I get 80 to 90 healthy laps out of this body I will be doing good.

In fifteen years, I hope we are still comparing notes.
