Snow I did some research in Brazil: people -in Sat Catarina and Parana states- are planting trees in reforestation. Good land that can be cultivated for other stuff. Reason? The land is not flat and is not easy to use tractors!!!

Another thing: The land that had the trees cut, tropical forests follwoing the coast, for planting coffee and pastures has grown up again!!

The people studying it, said, the seeds of the former original trees before man arrived from Europe, survided deep undergroung that was not revolved by machines and once they stopped planting ocffee or the cattle stooped being raised in the pastures, left abandoned, 50 years after the forests is like the former virgin forests!
