Digital navigation systems maker Navteq Corp. reported after the closing bell that fourth-quarter profit grew by nearly 80 percent, meeting analyst expectations. Shares took off after the Chicago-based company said 2006 profit could come in well above expectations. Both NVT and SIRF have a monopoly in the GPS and LBS. But SIRF claims a PE and price/revenue ratio 69 and 11 while NVT only 22 and 7 respectively. Way to go for NVT.
