Aero, should have said nearly $2 premium. While the bank stocks can rally further, I am very leary of emerging markets in general right now. I actually think there might be better opportunities in technology related emerging market or domestic plays. One that I recently purchased was TNE. It is the largest telecom carrier in Brazil and pays a 6% dividend. Another is VCP. ARA and VCP are in the pulp/paper business. I would diversify and use small positions. CSCO has been basing for a while now. It appears that it might finally get some respect. It traded 25 million shares during the first 5 minutes of trading today and 200 million shares for the day. INTC is cheap. The market cannot rally without bringing all ships and it being this oversold is attractive to me. I bought some short term calls and 2008 22.50 leaps for what I think is a bargain given 2 years of time premium for 2.90. The stock can move that much in two days when the rubber hits the road.

In my trading account I am using very short time periods. I also bought some PTEN today in my retirement accounts. Sold my CSCO and took a 6% gain and rolled it into PTEN, which is down a good 15%. Did you see MVK report revenues some $70 million above estimates!!!
