The perma bears have been absolutely smoked. I'd say the burden of proof is on the bears, not the bulls. Price is the ultimate arbiter. The perma bears have all of the logic and reason in their favor but it doesn't matter right now. I'm not sure what will make it matter. Housing might take everything down and is the single most indicator right now. The key question is how aggressive Bernanke gets in the face of a housing crash. The market seems to think his helicopter salve will solve any problem. We'll see.
