HAMAS will only start a real war if they get control of all the PLO security forces and if the Russians provide them with the APC's they have requested. Otherwise, they will simply continue to status quo war of attrition which is and always was the PLO's best weapon. Why start a real war against soldiers when you can shoot and stab unarmed and unsuspecting innocent young peope and children on buses and in pizza restaurants?
