Thanks for the link reg. the comparison between Cramer and Granville.

I take issue with the writer's comments. Granville was a showman; however, Granville was a serious technician.

I have on my desk four of his volumes exploring the use of on-balance-volume/and mathematical field theory in stock analysis. OBV is now an indicator that can be chosen as an option on most technical systems on the internet.

He used a hands on approach in his technical analysis---no computers to do the work for him. His market letters were very detailed-------analyzing major indices and individual stocks.

The only comparison that I think is valid between Cramer and Granville are that they are both showmen. Beyond that I don't think of Cramer as someone who is a pioneer in market analysis. Granville was that.
