Bush-Cheney like violence and unrest. It serves their purposes. In fact, they even like terrorism.

The angrier they get on the Arab street, the more Bushies can point to that and say "See, those Arabs are dangerous and want to kill us, so you need us to protect you, including illegally spying on any American we want. Just don't ask us who and why." Or if there is a terrorist attack, they can say "See, democrats have been appeasing terrorism. They're on the side of terrorists".

Of course it'a all total BS. In reality, Bush-Cheney have fanned the flames of terrorism. Ever since Tora Bora they have made the world less safe from terrorism, not more safe.
