If you had even the most basic acquaintance with this topic, you would know that the ice sheet during the ice age did not extend much south of Vancouver on the North America west coast.

By contrast the end moraine of the east coast glacier formed Long Island, much further south than ice on the west coast.

This difference is due to the ocean currents created by the Earth's rotation.
