BUsh's revelation about a foiled terrorist plot on the heels of 9/11 as well as foiling of two plots in the US during Clinton's Presidency in Seattle and during the millennium brings out two facts very clearly.

1. Eternal vigilance and not the war in Iraq pays. If we fall asleep at the wheels like Bush did in the first nine months of his Presidency reading "Pet Goat" to schoolchildren instead of running the country, then terrorists would find a way to sneak in.

2. The second fact is that a international intelligence network has big payoff, not marching troops unilaterally into Iraq. The US dollars spent in Iraq is best utilized for increasing our homeland defences not only to thwart impending attacks but also to pinpoint and rapidly descend on concentration of terrorists with the intent of destroying them rapidly.

I hope the red state morons are listening.
