Gabriel, RE: GV, I know all this. I've been trading for over 10 years & understand the market pretty well. Please, just think & respond to the concept I'm writing about as opposed to dissecting every word.

I'm not dissecting every word. I took one entire phrase, and disagreed completely with that phrase. I disagreed with the entire premise, that funds/analysts are somehow going to support GOOG at the current price because they don't want it to breach a support number.

Just to get the full context, here's the only other statement in the post I was responding to:

I am now revising my opinion and actually believe we've seen the worst of the selling. With Feb Max-Pain at $400 this may be where the market makers peg the stock for options expiration.

There is zero evidence that the whole MaxPain concept matters one bit. Zero.

Have I responded sufficiently to the concept you're writing about? If not, what am I missing?
