Chertoff is claiming he NEVER GOT A CALL but nevertheless you are apparently UNAWARE of which party does what. Its the OPERATIONS OFFICER that controls sending manpower and equipment and he is who Brown SHOULD have called. He was led to believe that Brown didnt need more stuff (brown had a contingent of FEMA in the South although now its known it was INSUFFICIENT but HOMELAND SECURITY didnt know that for a couple days. You really had to have watched the whole hearing to know what its all about, I learned A LOT I didnt know. jdn
