Vinick is not a trader.People knew he'd bought Hutchinson Technology semiconductor when it was 37. He sold it at ~ 110 after the 3 for 1 split !! ALSO, if somebody shorts Vivus tomorrow, don't you think that Vinick is going to protect his investment and buy it on way down? After all that is what he's been doing since July: started buying at 30 and bought down to 27. I can see the headlines: " Vinick takes on Vivus shorts!! ".
