You and I may not matter a whit, but when an event is nationally televised, the family is certainly inviting comment. And what you saw as a vibrant opportunity to get to Bush, I saw as a misuse of an occasion by several guests.

I'm not sure how inviting the president to sit on the dais and speak and then allowing other speakers to insult him can be considered anything other than poor behavior. But then I never approved of the small children carrying dead fetus posters blocking my entry to the Dallas church where I sang as particularly appropriate either. You see it as healthy freedom of expression; I see it as causing breakdowns in constructive discourse. Though I DO think the freedom should be there always, I just wish we used some discretion at times when we use that freedom. Obviously we disagree on what lines should be drawn. And isn't this fun that we can do so freely.

Rambi, too polite for the country's own good?
