Carbite Golf Inc., is the public corporation, that initially purchased 50% of Carbite Inc., a San Diego golf company. The acquisition of the remaining 50% of Carbite Inc. is whate the Sept. 3, 1997 news release is referring to. As part of the purchase, Carbite Golf Inc. has also acquired the remaining portion of a joint venture with Advanced Golf Inc. that Carbite Inc. did not own. Come to think of it, this is confusing. Essentially Carbite Golf Inc., the public corp., now owns 100% of the business. From what I understand the acquisitions and mergers has delayed the release of financial information on the company's combined first half results. I hope once they get everthing organized they will have some decent sales figures to report and bring us up to date on their product development.
