As I said, I'm not a lawyer. And certainly the Pentagon Papers was a complicated special case, one that you really need to be a lawyer to understand. Don't sell yourself short. Very few lawyers practice in the rarified world where these kinds of cases live. A typical criminal, civil, corporate, etc., lawyer brings precious little to the table in analyzing these cases. A smart layperson can become acquainted with the issues, and discuss them intelligently, as well if not better thans the average lawyer, if such a creture exists.
