Finally, a true Vivus short!!!! here!! Steve, were you been when we needed you!!???
Listen Steve, you sound like an innocent bystander to me who has a few
bad friends!! Remember, bad company spoils good morals!! ggg.
So here I am to your rescue; please note:
-Unlike your Urologist friends, I have had a little extra training in Medicine and Pharmacology.Your friends on the average have had
little or none.Urologists essentially cut or stick tubes up somewhere
( it is a skillfull joB, though, with due respect to the profession).
-However, THEY DON'T HANDLE DRUGS IN GENERAL. Even less so do they
handle vasoactive drugs except locally, of a few prostate dilators.
-So when I hear Dr.Goldgerg from Uof Boston, I believe, who comes on
in Good Morning America or 20/20 and tells me that " this drug is safe", and , he is part of the Pfizer_ Viagra study, I DRAW A BIG YAWN and say wake me when it's over.Why do I say that? Simple:
- Because we just saw what happened with Redux for goodness sake:
LARGE NUMBER OF PATIENTS developing DEADLY, PULMONARY HYPERTENSION and HEART VALVE ABNORMALITIES!!!
- these abnormalities WERE " MISSED" in mass during clinical trials, by ENDOCRINOLOGISTS ( obesity specialists ) who are
a hell of a lot better Drug connoisseurs than Urologists!!
How did it happen? Probably the same eye lid closing to rush
the thing through that Pfizer is now trying to do with Viagra!!
- well, the FDA is now badly burned. This ain't going to happen again for a long time!!
-Redux is now withdrawn from the National Market!!!
-Pfizer has already put out warnings not to use their famous, " "SAFE", vasodilator " Procardia,because it causes heart attcks.
-Pfizer is now undeer criminal investigation by teh Feds for
" false studies", "false research", "payola for false research"
( Wall Street Journal ~ 1 1/2 months ago.
-so don't bank on Pfizer pulling another fast one: people are now watching veery closely.
Finally, Steve, the Urological Community now feels that Vivus/Muse
and Pfizer/Viagra, actua;;y wil;l be addittive!! and used together.
