Varlen (VRLN) supports the sector with parts and such: for
both trains and trucks (I think that was darn smart, what
with the competition between those two).

52 week high: 25 9/32
8/13/96 high: 21 0/00
Dividend (annual yield): $0.33

1996 estimated earnings are expected to be up 29.9% to $2.43
(is it me or is $2.43 EPS really high for a $20-23 stock?).

I've owned since 4/1/96 and already received two stock dividends
of 10 shares each: 20%, not bad.

Some VRLN background and news:

METAL PRODUCTS. AUTOMOBILES AND PARTS. TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT. Varlen Corporation designs, manufactures and markets engineered
industrial products primarily for specialized applications
in the transportation and laboratory equipment markets.
